THE RESULTS ARE IN, AND YOUR CONTEMPLATIVE RYTHYM IS…
Breath Prayer
You connect with God when your body and spirit slow down enough to breathe with intention. Breath prayer meets you in the present moment—calming your nervous system, quieting your thoughts, helping you release whatever you've been carrying.
You come alive when things feel simple, steady, and spacious. A whispered phrase, a long inhale, a slow exhale—this is how God's peace comes back into focus for you.
You're someone who feels things deeply in your body. When stress builds, you notice it—tension in your shoulders, tightness in your chest, the shallow quickness of your breath. You know you need to come back to yourself, back to God, back to center. And breath prayer is how you do it.

WHY BREATH PRAYER IS YOUR LIFELINE
This Practice Grounds You
You're sensitive to stress and need quick spiritual resets throughout your day.
You connect deeply through your body—you can't separate your physical state from your spiritual state.
You flourish when prayer feels soft, uncluttered, and accessible.
You need something you can return to again and again, no matter where you are or how you're feeling.
You're drawn to practices that are ancient, simple, and embodied.
AN ANCIENT PRACTICE FOR A MODERN LIFE
Breath prayer has been used by Christians for centuries. The Desert Fathers and Mothers practiced it. Monks and nuns have whispered prayers with each breath for generations. When you practice breath prayer, you're joining a long lineage of people who knew that the rhythm of breathing itself is a gift—a way to remember that God is as close as the air in your lungs.
The beauty of breath prayer is that it doesn't require you to "get it right." There's no performance. No pressure. Just you, your breath, and God's presence meeting you exactly where you are.
This isn't complicated. It doesn't require a quiet hour or a perfectly curated space. Breath prayer can happen anywhere—in your car before walking into work, at your kitchen sink, in the bathroom when you need a moment alone, in bed before you fall asleep. It's portable. It's immediate. It's yours.
🎧 Try Your First Contemplative Encounter:
"My Love Will Make You Brave"
"My Love Will Make You Brave" was created for women like you—women who need to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with God through their bodies.
This 15-minute guided practice will walk you through breath work that calms your nervous system and opens your heart to hear God's voice.
A Quick Sneak Peek at the Practice:
Close your eyes. Inhale deeply through your nose. Hold your breath for a count of four. Then, release that breath, pushing the air out of your lungs.
The encounter continues with gentle movements—rolling your shoulders, rotating your wrists, stretching your legs—to help you release the tension you've been holding in your body all day. These simple movements create space.
Then, once you're grounded and present, the encounter invites you to listen. To notice what God wants to say to you in this moment. Right now.
This is what breath prayer does—it brings you back to now. Back to your body. Back to God's presence that has been with you all along.
You'll learn how to use your breath as an anchor. How to pair a simple phrase with your inhale and exhale—something like "Lord Jesus" on the inhale, "have mercy" on the exhale. Or "I am loved" on the inhale, "I am held" on the exhale. Whatever your soul needs to hear, you can breathe it in. Whatever you need to release, you can breathe it out.
This encounter will teach you that prayer doesn't have to be long or eloquent to be real. It just has to be honest.
The Long-Term Gift: Your Body Learns to Pray
After you complete "My Love Will Make You Brave," you'll have a practice you can return to every single day. Morning, noon, or night. When anxiety rises. When you're overwhelmed. When you just need a moment to remember who you are and whose you are.
Breath prayer becomes a lifeline. A way to reset. A way to reconnect.
And here's the beautiful thing: the more you practice it, the more natural it becomes. Your body will start to remember. When stress comes, you'll instinctively take a deeper breath. Breath prayer trains your body and your soul to return to God as naturally as breathing itself.
